What Is CDS (Consumer Directed Services)?
Consumer Directed Services (CDS) is a Missouri Medicaid (MO HealthNet) program that allows individuals with disabilities or chronic conditions to hire and manage their own caregivers — including family and friends (excluding spouses or minors). This means your care is provided by someone who already knows and cares about you, not a rotating cast of strangers.
